![]() So who knows where she is and what state she’s in." "But then again, Eleven is searching for her in the void and can’t find her. She’s definitely not back in the way she once was, but there’s still a small glimmer of hope." "I knew in advance, but even when I was watching the episode, you fully think she’s dead. (L) Sadie Sink gave an interview in Pop Buzz on Jwhich included several interesting comments: The meaning of this conversation has never been disclosed, but it will tie into my theory (keep reading). (K) Remember the cryptic conversation from season 2 between Max and Billy - about whose “fault” was it that they had to move to Hawkins? (Episode 2x2 “Trick or Treat, Freak”, at about 25:50). He takes their “memories and their abilities.” (See episode 4-9 at about 37:00) (J) Martin Brenner told El that Henry/Vecna does not kill his victims - “he consumes”. (I) Later, on September 8, 1979, at the lab, Henry/Vecna told Eleven that everyone he has killed is not really dead - “They are not gone, Eleven. They were becoming a part of me.” (Episode 4-7 at 1:27:00) He told Nancy: “ With each life I took, I grew stronger, more powerful. (H) When Henry/Vecna showed Nancy the flashback to his own childhood, he showed himself killing his mother and his sister. (Episode 4-7 “The Massacre at Hawkins Lab” at 1:16:00) (G) When Henry/Vecna showed Nancy the body of Barb in the swimming pool, he said “When I kill someone, I never forget”. Why choose Patrick - why not any one of the other potential targets that he reviewed? I submit that, while Fred, Chrissy, Max and Patrick all had suffered psychological trauma - there was another criteria that Henry was using to select his victims. But, in the episode “The Monster and The Superhero”, we have a scene where Henry looks through the void for another target and reviews a number of people who had problems/issues, then he selects Patrick. ![]() We are told that Henry was selecting people with trauma in their lives - and that seems to be true. First Chrissy, then Fred, then Max - but Max escaped him. (F) In 1986, he was selecting targets in the Hawkins area and killing them using the “eyes sucked into their heads” method. Why two different ways to kill people? Note that this is the same way he killed Alice and his mother. He killed the number kids with the “eyes sucked into their head” method. When he killed the lab guards and attendants, he seems to have basically killed them by breaking their necks/smashing them against walls, etc. (E) At the lab on September 8, 1979, Henry killed a number of lab guards and attendants, plus all of the “number kids” who were present (except for Eleven). Victor, while he did marry a woman with at least latent supernatural powers, did not himself have powers. Because of her powers, she suspected her son Henry of causing the horrific hallucinations and other events. Creel had some level of psychic powers, which she passed on to both her kids. However, despite a complete lack of evidence of Henry’s involvement in the horrific visions that plagued the family, Virginia Creel somehow knew that Henry was behind these events. Victor thought that a ‘demon’ was causing the problems. ![]() (D) Henry said his mother suspected that he was behind the events at the Creel house - but his father did not suspect him. (C) Henry said that his mother knew about a doctor who specialized in this field.Martin Brenner. This would indicate that Vecna never really planned to killed his father. (See episode 4-7 “the Massacre at Hawkins Lab” at 1:28:00). (But keep reading!) Vecna later told Nancy “He was arrested for the death of my sister and mother, just as I had planned”. ![]() Supposedly, the reason was that he (Henry) collapsed before he could kill Victor. Interestingly, he did not do so to Victor. He apparently did the same thing to his sister, Alice. Henry killed his mother by breaking her bones and (basically) sucking her eyes into her head. (B) If Terry had powers, and powers can run in families, it would stand to reason that at least some biological relatives of Henry Creel also had powers. Brenner seems to have known even before Eleven was born that she would have powers - Brenner was literally in the delivery room to steal Eleven the moment she was born - but when did Brenner learn that powers can be inherited? It had to be before Eleven was born, and it has to involve some other family. Eleven inherited these powers from her mother. Brenner’s research program before Eleven was born because she had powers. Terry Ives has nose bleeds like Eleven, and seems to have some level of powers. (A) We have evidence that ‘powers’ can run in families.
